The Ridgewood Department of Parks and Recreation is officially posting the full-time position of Tree Maintenance Worker 1, with a starting salary of $49,488.00.
Job responsibilities are similar to those specified for Civil Service Title #04220 Tree Maintenance Worker 1, per the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. Under direction, applicant will assist in the planting, transplanting, pruning, cutting of trees and assist in the treatment of diseased trees. In addition, conduct visual surveys listing of forest resources and other related work as required. Applicant must have landscape experience and be prepared to obtain an ISA certification, a Commercial Pesticide Applicators License as well as a CDL Class B driver’s license.

Seeking a qualified individual for the full-time position of an Assistant Director of Recreation. This position requires the individual to provide overall leadership and supervision of a seasonal aquatic’s facility including programming, budgeting, staffing, improvements, and maintaining safety standards. The Morris County Park Commission is seeking a Manager of Park Maintenance to manage, coordinate and supervise the execution of both in-house and contracted park maintenance activities related to facilities, grounds, trails and snow removal in the Morris County Park Commission. This position is responsible for the oversight of the Commission’s Park Maintenance Department staff, including the Mechanics Unit.
