The NJ CRID advocates and supports efforts to advance recreation inclusion of all New Jersey citizens with disabilities.  NJ CRID increases the awareness of leisure needs for individuals through the provision of educational workshops, conferences, and advocacy.

The NJCRID 35th Annual Conference was held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 at the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Conference Center, Cranbury,  NJ.  

NJCRID Awards News

At the New Jersey Commission on Recreation for Individuals with Disabilities Conference, the following awards were presented.
Donna Provenzano of Children’s Specialized Hospital received the Evelyn Aronow Citizen’s Award.
Janice Pennington of East Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department received the Dr. Jacquelyn “Jacquie” Stanley Administrator Award.
North Brunswick Parks, Recreation and Community Services received the NJCRID Distinguished Agency Recreation Service Award.
Richard Delgado of West Milford, NJ received the NJCRID Exemplary Recreation Lifestyle for an Individual Award.
Clark Recreation – Wheelchair Basketball received the NJCRID Exemplary Recreation Group Award.
